Les pathologies des annexes de l'œil

Parmi les pathologies ophtalmologiques, dont la prévalence est supérieure chez les personnes porteuses de trisomie 21, plusieurs touchent les annexes de l’œil. Parmi elles, les malpositions palpébrales congénitales (qui sont les anomalies oculaires les plus fréquemment rencontrées dans la trisomie 21 et peuvent entrainer une risque de lésions chroniques de la cornée ou de la conjonctive, voire une amblyopie), les pathologies inflammatoires des paupières (elles aussi fréquentes), ou encore les obstructions congénitales des voies lacrymo-nasales (plus fréquentes chez l’enfant).
