talla definitiva de las personas con trisom\u00eda 21 es universal. Una baja talla final, que llega 2 a\u00f1os antes que en la poblaci\u00f3n neurot\u00edpica, es una caracter\u00edstica de las personas con trisom\u00eda 21. Este retraso de crecimiento estatural es constitutivo pero puede agravarse por numerosas comorbilidades. Preservar todo el potencial de crecimiento de estos ni\u00f1os\/as impone por lo tanto un seguimiento minucioso, sobre curvas espec\u00edficas, del crecimiento de la estatura y del per\u00edmetro craneal. A no ser que coexista un raro d\u00e9ficit de hormona del crecimiento asociado, el tratamiento con hormona del crecimiento\u00a0no aporta ning\u00fan beneficio significativo en ni\u00f1os con
